You know... that it factor.
Well, I realize that I most definitely DO! I attract a lot of attention and it's not just 'cause of my cart! It's my very own Rhu factor.
There's been some pretty popular people in MY studio lately and do you know they pull out their cameras to take a photo of ME!! Fortunately I don't have a bad side.
Like a couple weeks ago, there was a baseball legend in here, a pitcher, Jim Abbott who was recording his book and we had something in common right away; one, he was really nice and he was missing a hand! A pitcher, no a GREAT pitcher without a hand! But do you know I inspired him and he took my picture. I don't try to be as X-tra cute as I am, I don't even know it's happening but somehow it just is. If not an X-factor it's certainly a Rhu-factor.
Mom just added an additional physical therapist to my regular therapists whose approach is very gentle and very in-touch with my inner Rhu. Mom and Dad are always looking for any avenues that may enhance what I've already got going on and I like that 'cause you know I LOVE any X-tra attention I can get. So we'll see where this journey takes me and I'll keep you posted.
This California sunshine sure has been my friend and I love how many opportunities it brings me to go for an "off-road" cart run - I mean like really spur-of-the moment. I'll just be layin' here bein' my own cute self when all of a sudden mom and dad drop everything and yell CART RUN! AND when I see them get my water bottle filled and my boots out man do I sit up tall! Then I start scootin' toward the door, tail propelling me like a Helipcopter on take-off! RHU-HOO!!! Get me out the door!
On the toy front - well the toys that are tough are too tough to even find the squeaker the way I like to find the squeaker. It is a search and destroy mission for me and what's the point if you can't even find the squeaker through the thick padding? So I just skip those toys altogether. Now, one of my all time favorites is either a cardboard box or a huge paper bag. I go AFTER that with a vengeance and it actually lasts longer than the normal wimpy squeaker toys and may even be more fun! I know I sure do get a LOT of cheering and clapping and laughter with those inexpensive, Recyclable toys. There is still nothing better than a brand new, untouched toy! Call me wasteful but I just do NOT like old used toys with the rare exception of a few. The Kong toys where you put the little baby treat in different spots keeps me pretty happy for quite some time now too. I love the squeaking Kong bones but I have to be watched 'cause I can still shred those after about my 3rd play and out pops the squeaker...GAME OVER :-(((
Since my Valentine's day kiss from Ava at Happy Dog Salon, and the You Tube video, I've discovered it's the petite ladies that like me the most! Just this morning, a tiny rescued Schnauzer mix ran over to me for our first ever meeting and she was all OVER me like feathers on a duck! We just kissed and then she hopped up on top of my back, and started walking around! All 6 pounds of her! I loved it so much I pee'd! Luckily I was in the grass! Now the bigger dogs depending on the breed seem a bit intimidated by my good looks and I can't say I blame them. They can't figure out why I get all the attention - can you believe that? I tell them It's just my X-Factor... X-tra cute, X-tra sweet and X-tra LOVED! They are soooo jealous!
Speaking of X-tra, I should probably get an X-tra treat- so I'm gonna go air-bark at mom... Right now! X-tra love to everyone. Rhu
