Saying Good-Bye to a Wonderful Friend

Picture I'll never forget you...dear sweet Tano.
Tano was one of my very first friends to welcome me to my new forever home.  Oh what a beautiful soul... inside and out.  You could search the world over and not find a dog any more sweet and kind.  Very unexpectedly her life was cut much too short... See, she was her mom & dad's world, their everything...Every dog should be loved that much.  Tano gave more than she ever asked for in return and I'm so glad that she had a family who worshipped the very ground she walked on.

After learning about the seriousness of her illness Tano's  mom & dad didn't waste a moment.  Nope, they simply turned their attention on creating memories that would carry all of them through.  All of us focused on making Tano happy and hoping against hope that she could be miraculously healed. I was extremely happy to know that she was in no pain and in fact you wouldn't even know by looking at her there was anything in the world wrong.

Soooo, what made Tano really, REALLY happy?  Campgrounds with ground squirrels!   Oh yeah we are talking about some serious fun, chasing those squirrels with everything she had why, it was the event of the year!  She had so much fun, they went again and then she came by and told me all about it and I saw the spark in her eyes!  Her mom and dad she said are the absolute best family any dog could ask for.

Tano's radiance and joy will last in my heart a lifetime and though it will take some serious time to heal, eventually, Tano's mom & dad will remember her and smile with the same radiance and joy she brought to our lives.  I dedicate the song below to her.  We will miss you, dear, sweet, Tano.  Love, Rhu

Only so many heart beats, Oh Rhu that's what I believe we all come into this world with. Nothing can change that, it's the rule!!! Tano is happy chasing squirrels at the Rainbow Bridge and just hangin' with the buds waiting for mom and dad. Sweet sweet song Shelly, Love X

A wonderful tribute to wonderful furry friend. They will one day meet again and the sadness they will carry will be lifted completely away.
