Some updates from the toy chest: While I thought the toy testing was a grand idea, unfortunately the company charges a ridiculous amount in shipping...REALLY??? C'mon businesses, you can do better than that for the Rhu. Looks like those same toys could be tried out from the local pet stores here for about the same cost sooo TWO BONES DOWN :-((((
Oh well such is life but you know me, I just move on... And speaking of moving, I have made some brownie points with the therapy folks and am now down to one day a week! RHUUU-HOOOO!! THEN, while at my spa appointment, I met a little Westie rescue that just fell in love with me. She kissed me so many times, I stopped counting! She even kissed my paws. I played hard-to-get for a good 10 seconds but she made me feel all handsome 'n stuff...like I should have my paw print on the Hollywood walk of fame - so I couldn't be rude. I totally had her in the palm of my paw...yep if she were made of snow, there would be nothing left but a puddle on the floor.
Oh and one of my favorite new friends around here is a 4 pound white dog whose name is "Mork" Yep, like Mork and Mindy! I get so excited when I see him that mom has to remind me to be extra careful. She says just my panting might knock him over and for sure if he were to receive the uncut version of my slurp. He was a little intimidated when he first met me and mom insists that it's only 'cause I'm such a superstar but I think it may have more to do with the fact that my head alone has to weigh double his entire body! He's warmed up to me really good now though and comes all the way up to my face wagging his curled up tail and I kiss him ever so gently.
OOH-WEEE! Dig this! You know how I LOVE Kids!!! Well, I was in my cart at my favorite park and I could not believe what I was seeing! A group of kids, probably 30 or more. I tried to be all calm, cool, nonchalant about the whole thing till one of them FINALLY reached out and patted my head. That brought the whole gang of 'em over... Rhu-Hoo! I was like a pig in mud-pie heaven. Then that of course got them all coming over, petting me, asking me why I was in the "wagon", the "wheelchair" two boys had a disagreement on the whether it was a plain wheelchair or doggie wheelchair and all I could think, was call it what you want as long as you keep PETTING ME!!!
Today might be Friday the 13th but it did not effect the weather here in "SO-CAL" (ooh, did I just sound hip or what just then?)...well anyway, all four of us from the office went to MY park and dad did me proud! I'll bet Eddie didn't know that his wheels could do the off-road thing so good! But DUDE, (I dooo sound hip!) today in MY cart, in MY park, we were headin' up and down the dirt trails workin' my hind end off and my tail? Well it just remained locked in over-drive! The girls were clapping and cheering and then, a little Chihuahua mix had the NERVE to growl at me!! Jealous of course. I just air-barked at him and didn't miss a waggin' beat!
Life is treatin' me real good here and it was moments like last night when mom, dad and me were all sitting together on the floor looking like an oreo cookie with me in the middle that I knew nothing else but that very moment really mattered. Well that and a decent toy!
Keep on waggin!
