I have been working hard since my last evaluation and now they are making a special brace for my left rear leg 'cause my knee wants to turn inward which limits the amount of stability I have on that leg.
I tolerate the water treadmill better now and have pretty much stopped my "doggy diving" routine with my head. There are still two people who get in the tank with me to assist my leg placement and mom says she feels sorry for the one who gets stuck with my head 'cause I like to wait until I get just enough water on my face and ears then I shake it really hard! Whew, you should see the water fly! I like that the girls scream every time with surprise! Hey at least I haven't pee'd or pooped in the tank like some dogs I know of - ooh Yuuck!!
Oh and one of the nicest Chiropractors is giving ME, Mr. Rhu, treatments once a week for FREE!! Is that awesome or what?? I really like him and I get all energized when he's done. I hope one day I can walk up to him and give him a big slurp! Yeah, that would "Rhuuu-le!
Mom was just saying it’s been a year since we met each other at Best Friends and I can't believe how quickly time has gone by. It will soon be a year we’ll be celebrating our actual year together as a family!!! It’s been an incredible journey for us all. There was a wonderful musician that came through here telling us how each decade he took on a new challenge and I believe that I will go down in mom’s memory book as the summer of special hopes, dreams, and the true meaning of unconditional love for us all. When all of the jumping through life’s hoopla of tasks are done and we get to gather around the tele together - no phones or emails to answer that’s the best time of the day...well perhaps with the exception of a cart run and some frozen yogurt to follow!
Summer's been great to us here at the beach and we are all very grateful for what we have.
Mom is also posting some new photos of me so check out my photo section! Keep on waggin'
