The amount of toys I ended up with well… every dog on the planet would be howling or drooling with jealousy if they could see – oh well, I say let ‘em howl and drool all over the place! I’m so glad, my office partner-in-crime, Lana was here too, we’re so in love…but it did seem she was a little put out that I was the center of the dog universe.
I told her to hang tough, that her 1st birthday would be here soon enough and she’ll be the one having it all.
I got a couple of cool stand-outs gifts…This puzzle game where you have to find the hidden treat underneath these paw shaped cups. No one was sure how I was going to take to that one but between loving treats, my big awesome nose and liking a challenge, I figured that one out in no time. I’ve got my own methods too, like when the cups didn’t want to lift up, I just grabbed the entire puzzle tilting until they fell out – Rhu-Hoo!! You can’t fool the Rhu dog for long. By the second day, I did it even faster and by the 3rd, I had this thing down to a canine science!! No cheating necessary.
One gift that touched all of us was a donation gift in honor of me given to Best Friends in Utah. This is where I was from and how mom found me. What a great reminder to always stay in that state of gratitude…being simply grateful for the life I have and knowing that it is absolutely perfect in every way. I know that this gift will be put to such good use and help some of the friends I had and the new ones still waiting for their “just right” person or family to come along. So I end this blog with a feeling of deep gratitude for those who everyday, wave and shout out “Hi Rhubarb” with a big smile on their face and also the new faces I meet each and every time I go out in my cart. It’s just the best life ever!! Thank you for the most pawsitively perfect birthday.
